Bassey Dan-Abia (born August 23, 1957) is a Nigerian politician and lawyer. He practiced law in Kano, Cross River, and Lagos States. Dan-Abia is a native of Afaha Ekpenedi in Akwa Ibom State and earned a law degree from the University of Lagos. Starting his private practice in 1995, he became the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Akwa Ibom State. He later served as the Managing Director and CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) until his dismissal in 2015. In 2019, he contested the gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom State.
