Barry Colliver was an Australian rules footballer born on February 28, 1935. He played for the Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) where he excelled, winning the Under-19s Best and Fairest award in 1952 and serving as team captain in 1953. After his tenure with Essendon, he moved on to play for the Rushworth Football Club, later taking on the role of captain-coach at Lake Boga until his passing on May 19, 2023.
