Barbara Koerppen, born Boehr, was a German violinist and professor at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. She was the founder of the Youth Symphony Orchestra Hannover. Born on January 5, 1930, in Stolp, Pomerania, she lived in Burgdorf in the Hanover region and also spent time in Sezze, Italy. Koerppen passed away on June 7, 2023, in Burgdorf.
