Barbara Canright (1919–1997) was a pioneering American human computer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and the first female mathematician employed there. She joined JPL in 1939, contributing to complex calculations essential for engine performance and rocket propellant analysis for the U.S. Navy.
