Lieutenant Commander Bahadur Nariman Kavina (born: ? - died: June 30, 2017) was a prominent Indian naval officer born in British India. He served as the commanding officer of INS Nipat and played a key role in the assault on Karachi port. On December 4, 1971, he led the attack on the headquarters of the Pakistan Navy as the commanding officer of INS Nipat, thus contributing significantly to India’s naval operations during the conflict with Pakistan.
