Badr al-Dīn Abū Ghāzī (May 14, 1920 - September 11, 1983) was an Egyptian Minister of Culture from November 1970 to May 1971. He oversaw the comprehensive social survey of society from 1952 to 1980, which was referred to by some as the 'Second Description of Egypt.' This survey was one of the last significant works undertaken by Abū Ghāzī in his lifetime.
