Beladamadu Gangadhar Jyothi Prakash Mirji, born on 21 November 1953, is an Indian Police officer, notable for his tenure as the Commissioner of Bangalore City Police from May 2011 to April 2013. He began his career as a Deputy Superintendent of Police and later joined the Indian Police Service. Mirji is recognized for leading operations against the notorious forest brigand Veerappan as chief of the Karnataka Special Task Force and served as Principal Secretary of the Home Department in Karnataka upon his retirement.
