Bhaurao Dewaji Khobragade, commonly known as Rajabhau Khobragade, was an influential Indian barrister, social activist, and politician active from 1958 to 1984. He served as a member of the Rajya Sabha and was Deputy Chairman from 1969 to 1972. A prominent Ambedkarite, Khobragade led the Republican Party of India and converted to Buddhism with B. R. Ambedkar in 1956. With roots in the Scheduled Caste Mahar community, he promoted social justice and education, studying law in London under the guidance of Ambedkar.
