Azər Hənifi oğlu Zeynallı (January 4, 1930 – October 11, 2010) was a Soviet Azerbaijani chess player and an influential figure in the Soviet chess movement. He earned a doctorate in physical and mathematical sciences and was a professor. Zeynallı was a champion in Baku (1952), champion of the Azerbaijan SSR (1953), and he participated in the youth championships of the USSR (1945-1948). He notably led Garry Kasparov's delegation during the match against Korchnoi.
