Austin A. Straubel (1904–1942) was a major in the United States Army Air Forces from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He became known as Brown County's first aviation loss in World War II, and in recognition of his service, Green Bay–Austin Straubel International Airport was named after him. His contributions and sacrifice during the war are commemorated by the airport bearing his name.
