Aura Celeste Fernández Rodríguez, born on November 9, 1958, in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, is a prominent Dominican lawyer. She has held significant public roles, including coordinating the Commission for the Support of Justice Reform and Modernization (1997-2000) and serving as a judge and member of the Central Electoral Board during critical political periods (1994-1997, 2006-2010). She is also the founder of key academic institutions and has been a university law professor. Since 2004, she has served as honorary president of the National Bioethics Council in health (CONABIOS) and practices law in Santo Domingo.
