Audronė Žigaitytė-Nekrošienė is a Lithuanian composer, music educator, critic, and journalist, born on January 12, 1957, in Vilnius. She studied music theory and composition, producing notable works including four operas for which she also wrote the libretti. Her contributions extend to music education literature and over 700 articles on music history. As editor-in-chief of the magazine 'Muzikos barai' since 1988, she has released over 100 CDs of Lithuanian music. She has been involved in various musical organizations and ran the Klaipėda Opera House from 2005 to 2010.
