He represented Grand Falls in the House of Assembly from 1971 to 1975 and served as Minister of Community and Social Development. Initially a school teacher and business owner, he later entered financial services. Post-retirement, he entertains senior citizens with live musical performances, playing various instruments including guitar and piano. He has two children and is dedicated to music and community engagement.
