Asumi Ōmura is a Japanese sprint canoeist born on November 11, 1989, in Shizuoka Prefecture. She has achieved notable success, winning silver and bronze medals in the women's kayak doubles and four at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Ōmura was a competitor at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, participating in the women's K-2 500 metres, although she did not advance to the semi-finals. She trains at Waseda University and is coached by Octavian Ispas of Romania.
