Brigadier Muhammad Aslam Khan (1918–1994) was a notable Pakistani military officer known for his leadership during the First Kashmir War. He commanded the Gilgit Scouts and Azad rebels, using the name 'Colonel Pasha.' He successfully organized a force of 1,200 rebels and local recruits, launching attacks against the Indian Army and State Forces from the north. His efforts led to the capture of Skardu and Kargil, advancing close to Leh. Although the Indian Army eventually pushed back, Skardu remained under Pakistani control at the war's conclusion.
