Artūras Barysas, also known as 'Baras', was a Lithuanian artist born on May 10, 1954, and passed away on January 28, 2005. He was a prominent figure in the Avant-garde movement, working as an actor, director, and musician. Barysas was notably the singer of the music group Ir Visa Tai Kas Yra Gražu Yra Gražu, founded in 1988. From the 1970s, he also directed over ten short films and inspired writers Robertas Kundrotas and Algimantas Lyva in creating the main character Magas in their 1995 novel Pasviręs pasaulis.
