He served as a poetry lecturer at Macmillan and was the founding director of the Publishing Studies program at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. His contributions to literature and education reflect his commitment to fostering a love for poetry and publishing among students and readers alike. Gregor passed away on August 3, 2013, in Châtillon-sur-Loire, France.
