Arthur Boyars (1925–2017) was a British poet, musicologist, translator, and critic. He published his first poems in 1944 and co-founded the magazine Mandrake in 1946. Boyars edited Oxford Poetry in 1948 and was recognized for translating Russian poetry. He was associated with Yevgeny Yevtushenko and published a limited edition of his poetry in 2011, acclaimed by Alberto Manguel. His work reflects a rich literary heritage and highlights his contributions to poetry and musicology.
