Arthur Hilmar Auve was a notable Norwegian wrestler born on October 28, 1906, in Oslo. He was a prominent figure in the Workers' Sports Federation during the 1920s and 1930s. Starting his career at Ørnulf, he moved to AIF club Fagen 26 in 1926, except for a brief period in 1933-1934 at Vålerengen AIL. Auve competed in the welterweight category, winning silver at the 1928 Spartakiad and the world championship in 1930, while also being a ten-time Norwegian AIF champion.
