Artashes Ghahrian was an Armenian writer and poet born on July 1, 1937, in Mets Tagher, NKAO, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR. He became a member of the Writers' Union of Armenia in 1985. Ghahrian contributed to Armenian literature until his passing on July 28, 2020, in Stepanakert. His works highlight the rich cultural heritage of the Armenian people and reflect the socio-political landscape of his time.
