Arnold Rosin was an Israeli geriatrician born on October 5, 1930, and passed away on August 25, 2018. He is considered one of the founders of geriatrics in Israel, having laid the foundations for geriatric medicine in the country. Rosin served as the first director of the Herzfeld Geriatric Rehabilitation Medical Center and held the position of head of the geriatric department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. He was also the general director of Shaare Zedek from 1982 to 1984 and was honored as a beloved citizen of Jerusalem in 2010.
