Arne Worren (1924–2011) was a professor of Spanish at the University of Oslo. He is particularly known for his translations from Spanish and Portuguese, including the classic work 'Don Quijote' by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. For this translation, he received the Bastian Prize and the Norwegian Academy Prize in 2003, highlighting his significant contributions to literature through translation.
