Armando Matías Guiu (November 27, 1925 - October 12, 2004) was a Spanish dramatist, radio scriptwriter, and children's literature writer. He gained fame primarily for his work as the scriptwriter for the children's radio program 'Tambor,' which aired on Ràdio Barcelona from 1955 to 1972, where he created around 7,000 scripts and memorable characters. His humorous texts 'Diálogos para besugos' were also very popular. Guiu published over 30 books and 25 comedies, and wrote 13 screenplays that were adapted for film.
