Armand Collard was a Belgian resistance fighter during World War II. Born on October 17, 1914, in Harre, he founded the first active resistance group in October 1941 and was a member of the Armée Sécrète. In February 1944, his group was betrayed, leading to an attack by the Wehrmacht. Collard was captured during the ensuing battle and executed at the Liège Citadel on June 7, 1944, without the Gestapo realizing he was the leader of his group. After his death, his brother Adrien took command.
