Arif Məmməd oğlu Həşimov is an Azerbaijani academic, born on September 28, 1949, in Shahbuz. He holds a doctorate in technical sciences and serves as an advisor to the president of 'Azerenergy' OJSC, as well as the director of the Project-Search Energy Institute. Additionally, he leads the 'Physics and Technology of High Voltages' laboratory at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS). He became an honored scientist in 2005 and a full member of ANAS in 2007.
