Aran Kyōdomari (July 28, 1910 - May 12, 2008) was a Japanese novelist and science fiction writer. He was born as Yukie Mizushima and wrote under several pen names, including Mizushima Taro and Ribo. Known as the most senior figure in Japanese science fiction, he is best known for his work 'Tower of Light,' regarded as a classic in Japanese SF. His father was the painter and author Yaho Mizushima, and his mother was Sachiko Mizushima, a pioneering female journalist for the Yomiuri Shimbun.
