He served as a professor at the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University, focusing on Dante studies. He published over 250 scientific works, played a significant role in academic mentorship, preparing over 20 candidates in Philology, and actively participated in popularizing science through media engagements. Asoyan passed away in St. Petersburg and was buried at the Smolensky Orthodox Cemetery.
