Anwarul Hoque (July 18, 1918 - November 18, 1981) was a Bangladeshi painter known for his significant contributions to the arts in East Pakistan. He played a crucial role in establishing the Government Art Institute of East Pakistan, which is now the Charukala Institute. He served as a teacher there, gaining renown for his teaching skills. In 1945, he was honored as the best artist in watercolor painting at the All-India Art Competition.
