Ants Veetõusme is an Estonian politician, fencer, and financial figure, born on May 3, 1949, in Tallinn. He graduated from Tartu State University in 1972 with a degree in finance and credit. Veetõusme served as the Mayor of Tartu from 1991 to 1993 and was the president of the Estonian Fencing Association from 1991 to 2004. His contributions to the field of sports were recognized when he received the Order of the National Coat of Arms in both IV and III Class in 2002 and 2006, respectively.
