Antonio Dini was a New Zealand fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force during World War II. Born on January 7, 1918, he achieved flying ace status, credited with at least five aerial victories. Joining the RAF in 1938, he served with No. 66 Squadron and later No. 607 Squadron, where he fought in the Battle of France. Tragically, he was killed in an aircraft crash near Folkestone on May 31, 1940, shortly after taking off for a new posting.
