He is known for his pioneering and significant contributions to Brazilian architecture, particularly in the development of the North-Northeast regions. His notable projects include the first structured lot in the North-Northeast, the first non-polluting industrial distribution center in the Northeast, the first park cemetery, as well as the first ossuary and crematory in the North-Northeast, among others.
