Antonije Abramović was a prominent Serbian Orthodox priest and abbot, born in 1919 in Kotor. During World War II, he served as the iguman and spiritual leader of the Serbian Monastery of Visoki Dečani in Kosovo, playing a crucial role in its preservation. He later became the abbot of the Monastery of Savina, a cleric in Athens, and eventually an archimandrite and mitroponosyn bishop in Canada. In 1993, he led a movement to revitalize the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, which led to tensions with the Serbian Orthodox Church. He passed away in November 1996 and was buried in Cetinje.
