Antoni Wojciechowski was a Polish chess master born on June 6, 1905, and died on January 19, 1938, in Warsaw. He began his chess career by participating in the Poznań championship in 1926, where he placed second and third. He won the championship in 1927 and 1928, became a runner-up in 1929 and 1932, and represented Poland in various competitions. Notably, he had a strong performance at the 1936 unofficial Chess Olympiad. Wojciechowski is remembered for his unique chess combination and for composing several chess problems.
