He has made significant contributions to the genre, directing the 'porpra i plata' collection and working with the magazine Serra d'Or. His science fiction work includes two trilogies that explore themes of space, time, and history. His latest novel, Michelíada (2015), received the Premi Ictineu and addresses contemporary issues within a classical framework. Munné-Jordà is also a co-founder of the Societat Catalana de Ciència Ficció i Fantasia.
