Anthea Comellini is an Italian aerospace engineer and reserve astronaut born in 1992. She completed her PhD in space rendezvous at the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace in France, working with Thales Alenia Space, graduating in 2021. Following this, she worked in space navigation operations for the European Space Agency and joined Thales Alenia Space for research and development the next year. In 2022, she was selected as a reserve astronaut in the European Astronaut Corps.
