Active in the 1950s, he played for Hungary in the Davis Cup during 1953 and 1954, and won the national doubles championship in 1956 with partner József Asbóth. Notably, in 1957, he participated in the longest match in French Championship history, losing after 83 games. He reached the round of 16 in singles at the 1958 French Championships and secured the doubles title at the 1958 Italian Championships alongside Kurt Nielsen.
