Anne Grete Eriksen is a Norwegian dancer, choreographer, and educator born on December 28, 1953. She studied at the Norwegian Opera's Ballet School and Dartington College of Arts, followed by choreography at Laban Centre in London. Employed at the National Academy of Ballet in Oslo since 1980, she became head of choreography education in 1986 and a professor in 2003. In 1978, she co-founded the dance company Dansdesign, creating works presented internationally. Eriksen was a leading choreographer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Lillehammer Olympics in 1994.
