Anna-Lisa Nystedt was a Swedish ceramicist and painter, born on November 11, 1920, in Västervik and passing away on March 22, 2000, in Misterhult. She was the daughter of Johan Svensson and Deborah Simonsson and was married to Erik Nystedt from 1946 to 1950. An autodidact, she studied painting during travels to France, Rome, and Yugoslavia. Nystedt exhibited with Rita Wilms at Sturegalleriet in 1957 and alongside Stig Kjellin and Hugo Simson in various exhibitions, creating artworks that blend nature and fantasy themes using watercolor and wax crayon.
