Ann T. Bowling (June 1, 1943 - December 8, 2000) was an American geneticist renowned for her work in equine genetics and molecular genetics. She developed tests for determining animal pedigrees, starting with blood tests in the 1980s and DNA testing in the 1990s. Noted for her research on hereditary diseases in horses, she contributed significantly to understanding their coat color genetics and evolution. A faculty member at the University of California, Davis, she was also a founding member of the international equine genome mapping project and worked extensively on the conservation of the Przewalski's horse.
