Ann Louise Rice O'Hanlon (June 21, 1908 – 1998) was an American visual artist known for her mural paintings. She gained prominence for her fresco in Memorial Hall at the University of Kentucky, created in 1934 as part of the Treasury Relief Art Project. This work garnered criticism due to its perceived romanticized portrayal of African American slaves. The controversy around the fresco continued, leading to an announcement in 2020 by University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto regarding its removal.
