Aniceto do Império was a Brazilian musician and singer born in Rio de Janeiro in 1912. He was known for his contributions to partido-alto music and was one of the founders of the samba school Império Serrano. His talent left a significant mark on Brazilian music, with fellow artist Dona Ivone Lara remarking that anyone who hears him sing never forgets their roots, describing him as both a teacher and a family member to her. He passed away in 1993.
