He was a prominent figure in the Uruguayan media, serving as a long-time anchor for Canal 10's news program Subrayado for 26 years. He also contributed to the program 'Prioridad' alongside notable personalities and hosted several TV programs including Fin de siglo, El reloj, and the documentary Fin de siglo electoral. He authored the book 'Crónicas de un canal abierto'. He passed away on August 23, 2007, at the age of 68.
