Andrzej Biskupski is a Polish poet, essayist, and literary critic born on August 30, 1938, in Łódź. He studied Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Łódź. His poetry debut occurred in 1963 in the magazine 'Zarzewie.' He was associated with the Łódź poetic group Centrum during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Since 1981, he has been an editor at Wydawnictwo Łódzkie and has worked for many years at the Scientific Information Department of the Public Library in Łódź.
