Andrée-Anne Gratton is a Canadian youth novelist born in July 1956 in Montreal. Her first novel, 'Le message du biscuit chinois', was published in 1998 and nominated for a Governor General's Award in 1999. She has authored several novels and albums, including 'Alexis, chevalier des nuits', which was a finalist for the 2002 Mr. Christie Book Prize. Her story 'Le monstre du lac' was a favorite among readers of J'AIME LIRE for the 2001-2002 year.
