András Lányi is a retired Hungarian tennis player born on November 26, 1969. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of 374 and a doubles ranking of 194. Lányi has won three ITF Satellite tournament doubles titles and holds a Davis Cup record of 12 wins and 13 losses. He studied at the University of Southern California from 1989 to 1993, winning the NCAA Men's Team Championship in 1993. Additionally, he won a bronze medal in mixed doubles at the 1993 Summer Universiade with partner Virág Csurgó.
