Andor Toth, Jr. (1948–2002) was an influential American cellist deeply rooted in the Central European, Berlin, and Hungarian musical traditions. He collaborated with his father in the Toth Duo and the New Hungarian Quartet. A student of notable musicians, he served as the solo cellist for the San Francisco Symphony and was a Professor of Cello at Oberlin Conservatory for 30 years until his passing due to esophageal cancer.
