Anar İsgəndərov is an Azerbaijani historian and a professor, known for his expertise in source studies, historiography, and methodology. He holds a doctorate in history and currently serves as the head of the 'Source Studies, Historiography, and Methodology' department at Baku State University. Additionally, he is a member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, having been elected as a deputy in the sixth convocation since 2020.
