Anahit Taryan is an Armenian poet and journalist born on February 9, 1952, in Vagharshapat, Armenian SSR, USSR. She is a member of the Writers' Union of Armenia since 2002. Anahit is the daughter of the poet and prose writer Mnacakan Taryan and the sister of Nver Mkrtichyan, a foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. Her contributions to literature and journalism highlight her significant role in Armenian cultural life.
