Amir-Farshid Rahimian was an Iranian trumpet player, composer, and orchestra conductor. He is recognized as the first conductor of pop music after the 1979 Iranian Revolution and the founder of the Bahman Cultural Center Orchestra in Tehran. Rahimian was a former member of orchestras such as the Iranian Youth Musical Society, Tehran Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Iran, and the Symphony Orchestra of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
