Amina Maxwell-Hudson, born Amina Shah on October 31, 1918, was a prominent British anthologiser known for her work with Sufi stories and folk tales. She served for many years as the Chairperson of the College of Storytellers. Amina was part of a notable literary family, being the sister of renowned Sufi writers Idries Shah and Omar Ali-Shah, and the daughter of Sirdar Ikbal Ali Shah and Saira Elizabeth Luiza Shah. Her legacy continues through her family members, including her nephew Tahir Shah and nieces Safia and Saira Shah.
